forgiven

i feel i have not even scratched the surface of what it means to forbear and to forgive like Christ...i often think judgment should come in my timing and according to my will...which is usually to harsh and swift...unless of course it is my offense...and by all means mercy should be applied...and piles of forgiveness and forbearance should cover it...anyway...when i learn of a situation that requires forgiveness...i try to use this thought...

"i have done much worse and many more things to Christ and He has forgiven me"

it is not easy...but for me that has put some things in perspective...
