today was my big day in court...why not throw a used book dealer as an appraiser into an ugly divorce...i testified right after the accountant...i don't think that was the order of importance though...the wife had taken pics of this collection before he bailed is what i could gather...so i gave an appraisal of pictures...after 45 minutes and a fierce cross examination i prevailed as "book expert"...the guys attorney tried to pull off some weird trick to see if i really knew what i was doing...the equivalent would have been a $50,000.00 price tag on a 1992 chevy malibu...anyway...i wanted so bad to say "you can't handle the truth"...the judge was cordial, but i thought he might not appreciate that in his court...anyway...maybe next time...i hope there is a next time...$65 an hour i will talk about books - well...forever...
going to see kung-fu panda tonight...
dont know much else...
and by the way...every time it says "girls just wanna have fun"...i substitute "boys" for "girls" so it isnt as gay...and if liking cyndi lauper is wrong...i dont want to be right!...
