guy calls me on the phone:

him: "i have an old book i want to sell"
me: "ok, what is it?"
him: "it is..."
me: "is it in good condition?"
him: "yeah"
me: "if it is in good condition, i can sell it for $30-40, so i would pay around $10"
him:"well i can sell it for that amount on ebay, would you buy it for $30"
me: "no, why would i buy for $30 if i am going to sell it for around that?"
him: "well, you could make $5"
me: "uh, no thanks, just sell it on ebay"
him: "okay, i can't believe you won't take $5"
me: "i tell you what, you sell it for $35 on ebay and give me $5 and you will have $30"
him: "what was that again"
me: "you sell it for $35 on ebay and give me $5 and you will have $30"
him:"okay that sounds good, that works out well for both of us"
me: "you can drop the money by after it sells"
him: "okay, thanks for your help"
me: "no problem, bye"
