last year it was edgar rice burroughs...this year it was kurt vonnegut...it seems that right around christmass time someone (probably not the same person, but who knows) decided they would steal a $300 book from me...mrs rider will attest that this really puts a bur in my saddle...a first edition of burroughs synthetic men of mars and a first edition of vonneguts slaughterhouse five...both of which i will probably never own again...i wish no harm to these individuals except that they sometime this year receive a $300 bill for something random...or that they are hit by a mack truck...i guess the former of those would suffice...anyway...
i bought battleship for little rider...after a few games i have realized that little rider is not only pretty smart, he is lucky...in battleship there is a 17% chance that you will hit a ship...those are the beginning odds...for little rider 17% is more like 50%...anyway...
any coincidence that israel started bombing hamas during the last months of the bush admin...uh...no...
my new years resolutions are as follows:
enjoy my family
eat large portions of meat and chocolate chip cookies
sell many books
play poker, soccer and golf
summed up as eating, drinking and being merry!
i hope everyone has a great new year...if i live i will type this again next year...if i die i will see you in heaven!
