about a week ago at the spfd cards game...mrs hillenblog and miss tween were discussing the topic of mistaken lyrics...i am sure that all of you have mis-understood lyrics at some point...often lead singers are not the best unnunciators...and i am sure that many of you have either googled lyrics or checked the actual album to find out what the lyrics really are...anyway...
i have to confess one of my lyric blunders...for years i have thought that coolio in his song "sumpin new" rapped the lyrics "aint no party like a west coast party cause a west coast party dont stop"...but actually i learned last night the correct lyrics to this song...i feel silly for this mis-understanding...the actual lyrics are "aint no party like a rider hosted party cause a rider hosted party dont stop"...i remember partying in the early 90's with coolio, but just vaguely...
to everyone that came...we had a great time...thanks for coming...little rider loved it...we will play again...
