quests & questions

the season of the garage sale has begun...this morning i took jake with me to garage sales...to this day, i still have vivid memories of going to garage sales with my dad...we would always stop at hardees for a beef-steak biscuit...which by the way was the BEST breakfast sandwich ever, why hardees decided to cancel it is beyond my comprehension...anyway...we went to 10-15 garage sales and then went to make-purchase mrs riders mothers day gift...i cannot tell for it is a surprise...

anyway...during the 2 1/2 hours that little rider was with me...he asked 52 questions...most of which were reasonable and legitimate...you might wonder...why would i count...when in st. louis a few weeks ago...we took the boys to the magic house...http://www.magichouse.org...if you have never been...this is cool...it can be used as a 4 hour time killer with kids...they will love it...anyway...there was a sign on the wall that said that the average 4 year old asks over 400 questions a day...that seemed a bit high to me...but as for experiment #1 - this morning...i would say that is just about right...maybe it seemed high because i usually ignore at least 3/4 of the questions...

later from 3rd St.

I saw that sign at the Magic House last year. It seemed way high to me too.
