apologies for the shortage of posts...the new house has required EVERY spare moment...we, or more correctly "they" have painted every wall in the house...I HATE PAINTING...therefore i have chosen rather to pull up flooring and tack strips...mow the farm...it is only 3 1/2 acres...but i am calling it the farm...anyway...clean a filthy pool...it was so dirty even the frogs were complaining...and other random maintainance...the hardwood was picked up today...and starts going in on wednesday...we thought about keeping the carpet that had a nice 4 year dog piss smell...but we opted to go with a cleaner and fresher replacement...
i look forward to entertaining...perhaps a 4th of july bash?...i hope that i have, and am in the process of creating an environment where the boys and their friends will want to spend their time and hangout...plus coacher said that if they are going to smoke weed...i would rather have them do it under my supervision...coacher is always there for wisdom and councel...
speaking of smoking weed...i bought a 3 gallon sprayer...i have been smoking weeds with diesel fuel...i am sure there is a safer and more environmentally safe alternative...but it is not known to me...so if you know...let me know...by the way...it was coacher who told me to use diesel fuel...so it is probably okay...
oh goody goodie!!!...mrs rider just called and the new neighbors just brought over chocolate chip cookies...that is a neighbor...that is what Jesus was talking about!!!...and you can quote me on that!!!
wed night jeff cox will be speaking at midnight...it is no longer called midnight...but like the name change of SMS...it will never change in my mind...anyway...where were we?...oh yah, midnight at SMS...he is speaking about the "emerging church"...this has become popular by books like "velvet elvis"...if you can be there...it would be WELL WORTH your while...this is a sexy new philosophy...but like so many girls...it looks good from afar...but is far from good...and you can quote me on that...
