for a while now...i have not had a good pair of "everyday" shoes...i used to buy two brand new pairs of chuck-taylor all-stars every year...white low tops...and usually navy blue low tops...these were my "everyday" shoes...however...over the last couple of years, all-stars became "trendy" again...so i put away my first love...

see, i do the same thing & dress the same way 6 days a week...so, a basic comfortable pair of shoes is necessary...i have looked and looked...my old pair of 70's new balance were not doing the trick...so last night it happened...i fell in love...i am smitten...

clarks "wallabees"...rubber soles...soft suede...not a compact or suv...morelike a nice sedan...the perfect "bookman" shoe...so i guess it would be witty to end this blog with...GOOD DAY MATE!
